The Portrait Process

The thought of getting portraits done is overwhelming! Weather you want a beautiful beach portrait with your horse, an outdoor portrait in the woods or pasture or a barn portrait location or there is many things to think about. Schedules to coordinate, locations, and clothing to think about. And then there’s the question of WHAT you’re actually going to do with the images once they’re in your hands!

We are here to remove all those Obstacle's for you!

From walking with you through the process of clothing and locations, to helping with wardrobe selection, through flattering posing, to helping you design the perfect artwork to fit the style of your home and finally coming to hang the completed artwork, your primary job is to simply enjoy the process.

Design Consultation

The key to creating beautiful portraits is having a vision for the end result! An in-home consultation will give us the opportunity to get to know you, your personality, and your style (Don’t think you have any? We can help with that too!).

I will walk you through the details… wardrobe, investment options and products, We will look at your spaces in your home to customize your session with an idea for the specific artwork you’re looking to create.

Your Portrait Session

Here’s where all the planning pays off! This part of the process is easy and enjoyable because we know exactly what you love and what we are capturing for you. Relax. We will take control, make this painless and (dare we say it?) fun!

Viewing & Ordering Appointment

One to two weeks following your session, you’ll come to our home or a zoom meeting for your viewing and ordering appointment. We’ll give you a comfy seat and fill you up with snacks while you watch your images on the big screen. I recommend the option of coming to our home,to view your images. We are also available to come to yours if your at the beach for the week or your a resident of the Charleston, SC area.

You’ll be able to see and touch all our beautiful products in person, and we’ll be there to help make your decisions simple. For most clients this meeting takes 60-90 minutes and is their favorite part of the process!

Artwork Installation

At the end of our time together you won't be stuck with a thumb drive full of digital images you don't know what to do with. To be honest your never going to do anything with them. We are going to hang your images on your walls for you to enjoy.
